Overview Location: Bismarck, ND Work Arrangement: In-office This position is a seasonal position from mid-January 2026 to mid-April 2026. This role may be up to 40 hours a week, with an expected schedule of 8am-5pm and occasional weekend work. Responsibilities Preparing a return for a multi-million dollar organization or individual. Working with the tax team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed, including tax planning, client interaction and performing special tax projects. Gathering relevant tax-related information from the client so an accurate tax return can be prepared. Reviewing tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied. Preparing accounting-related reports through a paperless office environment. Qualifications Available to work in a seasonal capacity from mid-January 2026 to mid-April 2026. Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an active CPA license (or actively pursuing one). 3-5 years of experience in public accounting tax work. Ability to explain details of tax preparation experience with individual and business income tax returns. Interest in public accounting and staying up-to-date on changing tax regulations and policies. Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
