Exciting Opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist!

Join our dedicated team as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) and make a difference in the lives of K-8th grade students in our onsite school setting in Guadalupe, CA. We are offering a remarkable opportunity with a $1,000 bonus for those who start by December 19th!

• Immediate start date for the remainder of the school year.
• Full-time hours (37.5 hours/week).
• Deliver onsite therapy services .
• Work with K-8th graders .

• Competitive starting hourly rate : $60/hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Design individualized therapy plans tailored to students' specific needs.
• Deliver targeted therapy focusing on articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support student communication goals.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques in therapy sessions to enhance speech and language development.
• Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to discuss students' speech and language needs.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience in providing speech-language therapy in a school or pediatric setting.
• Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in pediatric speech-language pathology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with teletherapy (preferred) and knowledge of AAC systems (preferred).
