Empowering Athletes LLC is a well established private practice located in Hanover, Massachusetts. Offering athletic training services such as, injury evaluations, prevention, rehabilitation, sports specific rehabilitation, plus strength and conditioning. Empowering Athletes works with athletes of all ages and levels, from youths to adults. We have a team approaching working with Doctor’s at Boston Children's Hospital.
Empowering Athletes is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Athletic Trainer to work and help to grow a thriving private practice. This position is for a full time or possibly Part time. This new role is for clinic time about 10-15 hours a week and coverage to a local high school. Class sizes are small to focus on individual attention and technique. Hours can range from 30-40 a week with CEU benefits, Dues, License and Liability coverage at EA. Hourly rate will be determined based on experience and skill evaluation. Can be flexible with schedule if needed.

* Injury prevention is key to living well
* The demands of an athletes' sport can cause chronic or acute injuries
* The repetitive practice of movements that require extreme flexibility, strength, and endurance make these athletes prime candidates for overuse injuries that can be either prevented or resolved
* Athletes need a balance of muscular strength, flexibility, neuromuscular balance, bone and joint integrity, aerobic power, and self-discipline
*Job Responsibilities*
* Provide services in the clinic including: clinical diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries
* Athletic Training coverage for local high school
* Instruct and/or assist in teaching strength and conditioning classes
* Maintain appropriate general treatment orders to be reviewed bi-annually and approved by the Overseeing Doctor.
* Communicate with family physicians and specialists, coaches, instructors, athletes and their parents
* Maintain accurate records of injuries and treatments
* Create content and opportunities for clientele
* Plan, advertise and run events, classes and workshops to help build the brand
* Assist with marketing and sales
* Assist with our Social Media Accounts
* Assist the owner as needed
* Help keep clinic clean, organized after sessions
*Qualifications include:*
* Master's Degree in related field preferred
* Possess a current national certification from the BOC
* CPR/AED Certified
* Eligible for Massachusetts State licensure through the Board of Allied Health Professional
* 1-5 years of experience (open to newly certified)
* Strong manual and rehabilitation skills preferred
* Knowledge of pediatric injury and treatment protocols
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
* Willingness to work as a team
